📣 Big News from Luna Rosa Puerto Rican Grill y Tapas

Since 2015, when Luna Rosa first opened its doors at City Base, our mission has been simple yet deeply heartfelt: to share the flavors, culture, and music of Puerto Rico through a premier dining experience that brings people together like family.

From the very beginning, this dream has been built with love, hard work, and a whole lot of corazón. We’ve weathered trials and tribulations, including the unimaginable challenges of the pandemic. Along the way, we’ve also celebrated incredible milestones — being featured on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives with Guy Fieri, winning awards like Best Margarita (two years in a row), Best Cuban Sandwich in Town, and Best Latin American Restaurant in Town, among many others.

When we took that leap of faith and moved to downtown, we grew from a cozy 15-table spot to a vibrant 300-seat restaurant. For the past 3½ years, we’ve proudly proven that authentic Puerto Rican cuisine — a cuisine made with love and cooked fresh to order — can shine in a large-format, high-volume setting.

This journey has been truly incredible, and it’s all because of you — our loyal customers, friends, and familia. The space here at 910 South Alamo isn’t just a restaurant; it’s where countless birthdays, anniversaries, first dates, family gatherings, and everyday meals have become cherished memories. This place will forever hold a special, irreplaceable place in our hearts.

✨ And now, it’s time for the next chapter.

In December 2025, Luna Rosa will be moving to a new home just down the street at 1014 South Alamo, the former “Hot Joy” location. Our new forever home will be a place we can pour even more love, culture, and sabor into for years to come.

Before we make this exciting move, we want to invite you — our beloved community — to come share these last special months with us here at 910 South Alamo. Come in for one more mofongo, one more cocktail, one more song, one more night of laughter and dancing. Let’s make lasting memories together in the space that started it all.
